If you believe in life after death, parallel worlds, and people stuck between two different worlds than this book is definitely a great choice for you. I am one who believe in all of that stuff…that people’s souls stay behind and are with you even though they have passed on, so I personally loved this book.
Camden and Viv had a strong loving relationship, and were always there for each other…through the good and the bad. They were each other rock, and the person that the other could lean on. When Camden suffered a life changing, career ending football injury, Viv was by his side through all of the changes, pain, and suffering that it had caused him. Many would say they had found their true love. Pne day Viv got in a fatal car accident, and Camden would give anything to see her face, and feel her touch again. When he finally gets the courage to visit the site of her accident, he see a type of apparition. Not a ghost, but an image of a young girl living in a parallel world. This girl is not Viv though, rather it is a girl named Nina who lives in this parallel world with Viv…a world where she is still alive. In this other world, Viv and Camden have made very different choices, and Viv isn’t the same person that he knows and loves. Camden is forced to choose what to do in this parallel world…choose Viv, or let her go.
